🚍 Marshall students can now receive FREE TTA bus passes!

Students enrolled in Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 are eligible to receive one of two pass options:

🟢 31-Day Pass
• Unlimited rides for 31 days
• The 31-day period begins when you take your first ride
• Can only be picked up in the Office of Student Advocacy (MSC 2W31) and Office of Student Affairs (MSC 2W38)
• Cannot be used with Dial-A-Ride

🟢 $5 Value Pass
• Ride as much as you can until the $5 value is used
• No expiration date
• Can be picked up at our participating locations
• Can be used with Dial-A-Ride

Last week, the Appalachian Power Foundation presented the Marshal Foundation with a check that will be benefitting our students! The grant will be divided between the College of Engineering & Computer Sciences and our Student Emergency Fund! This grant will provide immediate financial assistance to students facing housing or food insecurities and other unexpected crises. We are grateful to the Appalachian Power Foundation for showing support to our students!

Monday, May 4-Monday, May 11 - As you move out of your residence halls, consider donating your gently used items to the Marshall Thrift Store.

Tuesday, May 5 - Join Huntington artist Nichole Westfall at the Memorial Student Center Plaza from 10am to 3pm for a community painting event as part of the Marshall for All Mural — a collaborative public artwork to be installed on the West-facing wall of Smith Music Hall. Open to all Marshall students, faculty, and staff, this is your chance to contribute your story, add your brushstroke, and become a permanent part of something bigger than any one of us. No artistic experience needed. All materials provided.

Wednesday, May 6 - Join the Golf Club at Marshall University at Chipotle for a fundraiser on May 6 from 4pm to 8pm. When you order, be sure to tell them it is for the fundraiser, or you can order online using the code 9VKCP9L.

Saturday, May 9 - Join us at the Marshall Health Network Arena for Spring 2026 Commencement! The 9am ceremony will honor the College of Business, College of Education & Professional Development, College of Science, College of Engineering & Computer Sciences, Division of Aviation, and the School of Medicine. The 2pm ceremony will honor the College of Health Professions, School of Pharmacy, College of Arts & Media, College of Liberal Arts, and University College.

Marshall University Esports concluded an impressive run at the NACE Grand Finals, finishing among the nation’s top competitors after battling against elite collegiate programs. The Herd helped to showcase Esports within West Virginia with a very exciting matchup between Marshall and WVU. Congratulations to our team! 🎮🏆
