We had the best time at Panera today with our DKG sisters and potential members!

We swapped clinical stories, shared teaching tips, and laughed way more than we planned.

So grateful for the memories and the company!

✨ Delta Kappa Gamma kicked off our first meeting of the school year! It was wonderful reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new friends.

We voted on bylaws, approved the budget, and nominated potential new members.

Congratulations to our Collegiate Chapter Vice President, Cailey Hinkle, for winning one of the door prizes! 📚🌹

🎓 Congratulations to Raine Fritz!

On Saturday, May 10, Raine graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Multi-Categorical Special Education.

Reflecting on her journey, Raine shared:
“Every challenge in the classroom taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of showing up—show up for your students however you can—that’s the most important thing you can do. The rest will fall into place.”

Looking ahead, Raine plans to pursue a Master’s degree in School Counseling while continuing her passion for teaching.

Did you know that this week is Teacher Appreciation Week?

At DKG Collegiate, we’re taking a moment to thank the educators—past, present, and future—who inspire us every day. Whether it’s a mentor, a professor, or a teacher who once believed in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves, we wouldn’t be here without them.

Here’s to the ones who make learning feel like possibility. 🍎💡
