We are proud to partner with the Kansas Lions Band to host their 2026 Band Camp on the HutchCC campus this week!

Our Fine Arts Department is currently bustling with over 130 outstanding high school musicians who are staying on campus and dedicating their week to advanced musical training. From intensive small group rehearsals to full ensemble sessions, these students are putting in the work to put on an unforgettable show.

We invite our community, friends, and families to join us for the final weekend performances:

• Chamber Ensembles & Jazz Band Concert: Friday, May 29 at 7:45 PM at the Stringer Fine Arts Center
• Large Symphonic Band Concert: Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 AM at the Hutchinson Sports Arena

Thank you to everyone in our Fine Arts department helping to guide these students, and we look forward to seeing you at the concerts!

President Paramore and Duke the Dragon were thrilled to welcome Miss Rodeo America, Miss Rodeo Kansas, and several reigning state queens to HutchCC in partnership with the Abbyville Frontier Days PRCA Rodeo. It is a privilege to celebrate the hard work and grace these ambassadors bring to the sport and our community.

First-round hiring for the Interfaith Construction Apprentice Program has officially been completed!

Interfaith Housing and Community Services and Hutchinson Community College have partnered to create a new registered apprenticeship opportunity for students enrolled in the USD 308 HC&TEA Building Trades course.

Our new apprentices are now employed by Interfaith, earning a competitive wage while gaining valuable hands-on experience in new in-fill construction and residential renovation projects.

This partnership creates a direct pathway from classroom learning to skilled workforce development while helping address local housing needs in our community.
