About Green Things Work

Meet Kendra Hazel. Founder and CEO of Green Things Work, a 25 year old D.C. native, self taught cook, and Bachelor of Allied Health Science Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University 2016 Alumna. In 2015 I created Green Things Work while studying business management and wholistic health knowledge throughout the semester with the vision of introducing those around her to a healthier lifestyle option. It is my goal to provide people with the tools to seek a better way of life by incorporating healthy habits into their everyday habits. With curated events, recipes, holistic tips, and recommendations of products, food inspiration and curiosity will reach those who are willing to step outside of their comfort zone.

As an entrepreneur I enjoy getting creative in the kitchen by cooking plant based meals, drinking herbal tea, and staying away from chemical based products at all causes to promote a more holistic lifestyle. With self taught knowledge from over four years, I am full of vibrant energy at all causes and is able to help change people’s perspective on health with day to day connections.I strive to uplift the community by partnering with local establishments such as City Blossoms and Department of Parks of Recreation, local urban garden programs, and girl scouts through cooking demonstrations and informing programs which provide communities with fresh plant based food, recipes, and guidance .
