Opening Reception!
Join the Herron Galleries this Saturday, August 29th from 3-6pm to view one of Herron's own, Stephanie Barlow (MFA, 2013)!

In collaboration with Companion Projects, the Galleries presents: Caught Between the Tongue and the Taste, a solo exhibition.

Noticing is the beginning of wonder. Wonder is the suspended experience of being astonished by the world around you. It is characterized not by the possession of an answer but by remaining open and suspended in the question. Wonder is the gap between the tongue and the taste.

Through sculpture, drawing, weaving, and found object, Barlow invites us to slow down, look closely, and remain with the familiar long enough to notice the beginnings of something wonderful.

At 6pm join us for the opening of the Graduate Thesis Exhibition taking place in the Berkshire, Reese, and Paul Galleries and the Marsh and Basile Galleries at Eskenazi Hall (735 W. New York St.).
