Iowa City - Polar Plunge Register for Polar Plunge on Campus! Get a team together today, this is an event that you don't want to miss! Also, don't want to get wet and cold?

Get pumped for jumping in the icy waters of Coralville Lake to raise money for Special Olympics.When: March 26th, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Coralville Lake near Iowa City.Also, check out our Twitter page - http://twitter.com/ICPolarPlunge The following dates there will be a Polar Plunge Table located outside of the marketplace in Burge from 11-2pm.

-$75 per team member

-Register online at www.firstgiving.com/soiowa or look on this page for updates of registration tables on the University of Iowa campus

So...get a team together! There are prizes for getting involved:
Prize Categories-
-Best Costume (individual and team)
-Most Money Raised (individual)
-Most online money by March 21 (individual)
-For every $75 raised, your name will be entered into a raffle

After the plunge there is a complimentary meal for plungers, plus there will be music by Final Alibi and Nick Stika. Register as a chicken, still help raise the money but sit on the sidelines and watch the plunge.

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics Iowa athletes by "Freezin' for a Reason." Participants collect pledges from friends, family and co-workers in exchange for jumping into icy waters.
