🖤 SOMEONE YOU LOVE MAY BE FIGHTING A BATTLE YOU CAN’T SEE. 🖤
September is Su***de Prevention Month, but caring about someone’s life shouldn’t be limited to one month.
Sometimes the person who says, “I’m fine,” is barely holding on.
Sometimes the loudest laugh is covering the deepest pain.
Sometimes the person checking on everyone else is the one desperately wishing someone would check on them.
So check on your people.
Not just with a quick “How are you?”
Ask again.
Listen.
Sit with them.
Let them talk without judgment.
Remind them that they matter.
Remind them that asking for help is not weakness.
And if you are the person struggling right now, please hear this:
You are more than this moment.
You are more than your pain.
You are not a burden.
You are not alone.
Your life has value—even when you can’t feel it.
You don't have to figure everything out today. Just stay. Take the next breath. Reach for someone. Let someone help carry what feels too heavy to carry alone.
📞 Call or text 988 in the U.S. to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. You don’t have to wait until you’re at your breaking point to reach out.
đź’› One conversation can change a moment. One moment can change a life.
Check on your people.
Be the reason someone decides to stay.
