In case you missed it, allow me to tell you some more about myself.

I am a politically conservative Christ follower who grew up in Joplin. I am asking to represent you on the Joplin Board of Education by gaining your vote on Tuesday, April 4th.

I graduated from Joplin Schools in 2003. After graduating from college, I chose to raise my family here. I have been married for 13 years; Megan and I have 3 kids in Joplin Schools. My Christian faith and family are incredibly important to me and guide many of my decisions. I have worked in the technology field for 18 years, in large corporations, smaller non-profits, public schools and small businesses. I bring this broad knowledge base to serve Joplin Schools well.

As a school board member, I am excited to prioritize the array of needs of students, teachers and parents. That's what is important to me, both as a product of Joplin Schools and as a parent passing the baton to my children who are now in Joplin Schools. Thank you for your vote and allowing me to represent you as a Joplin School Board Member.

This is awesome! CONGRATULATIONS!

Our amazing school was recognized at the Southwest Center Celebration of Schools this evening. Our Taking Flight program won the Making Learning Come Alive award! We are so incredibly proud of the work our Taking Flight committee, under the leadership of Tracy Horton, has done to improve our school. We have the most dedicated teachers working so hard every day to make a positive impact on the lives of the students we serve. Congratulations!
