Big Brothers Big Sisters at Keene State College

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization that matches positive role models to mentor children. Being a mentor leaves a huge positive influence in children's lives. There are close to 400 agencies across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Big Brothers Big Sisters club at Keene State works closely with The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western New Hampshire agency. We host se

veral events each semester where Bigs can bring their Littles. Many of the club members of Big Brothers Big Sisters have littles. There are two different options to become a Big Sister or Big Brother. The first is a community based program. When you are matched as community based volunteer, you will meet with your little a few hours a month on and around campus. NOT in Keene State dorms or anywhere that the littles parents have not given consent. The second option is being able to visit your little at a school nearby at least once a week for an hour.
