ASUCSD’s Civic Engagement Office ASUCSD’s Civic Engagement Office is nonpartisan and aims to increase voter participation, civic engagement, and social awareness among students. ���

Created in 2010, SOVAC was created after seeing the extremely low number of UC students registered to vote. Our goal is to raise this percentage. It is SOVAC's hope that the push for more voter registration will increase students' political awareness and encourage them to participate in upcoming local, state and national elections.
