Meet Our UL Lafayette Graduate Student Organization (GSO) Representative: Humaira Tajeen! We are excited to have Humaira representing our graduate students and contributing to the EDFL community. Join us in celebrating Humaira and the leadership she brings to our graduate student community!

Humaira is pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Cohort 12. She chose UL Lafayette for its welcoming academic community, commitment to student success, and reputation as a Carnegie R1 research university. Through EDFL, Humaira values the opportunity to explore new perspectives, connect with faculty and fellow graduate students, and grow academically and professionally. Looking ahead, Humaira hopes to pursue a career in teaching, research, or academic leadership, with a particular interest in student affairs. Her goal is to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments that enhance the student experience.

Humaira loves traveling, exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Every adventure is an opportunity to learn something new!
