ISA Lafayette The ISA Lafayette Section was chartered in 1981. Our membership comes primarily from the upstream oil and gas industry.

Our instrumentation and controls professionals are known worldwide as the pioneers and experts in the application of technology associated with processes in the oil patch. The Lafayette Section supports the goals of the ISA in connecting people and ideas in automation. We have been recognized nationally as a section of growth and leadership. We host monthly meetings offering a variety of technical

presentations as well as an opportunity to network with industry professionals. Each year our section sponsors the GOTech, the Gas and Oil technical expo, designed to keep pace with the ever changing technology inherent in our industry. Each Spring we host an annual Clay Shoot and a Membership Drive/Shrimp Boil each Fall. We offer the University of Louisiana Lafayette annually with scholarships supporting the Industrial Technology and Electrical Engineering departments.

There’s a couple of weeks left to sign up a team for ISA’s Clay Shoot benefiting UL Engineering Project Teams and the local high school FIRST Robotics Teams!!!! Individual shooters welcomed!

Not a shooter? It’s ok! We are accepting sponsors and door prizes as well.

This year’s raffle item is a Beretta A-400 @ $20 per square.
