New Mexico is making historic investments in education, literacy and student success.

From tuition free college and universal free child care to expanded literacy support and summer learning programs, we are continuing to invest in New Mexico students at every stage of learning.

This summer, 10,000 students across New Mexico will participate in our free Summer Reading Program, which provides small group instruction and focused literacy support designed to help students strengthen reading and math skills before the next school year begins.

Students participating in the program are advancing an entire reading level on average because reading interventions work.

Strong readers build strong futures.

Enrollment across New Mexico’s higher education institutions has remained on an upward trend, underscoring growing participation in certificate and degree programs statewide. By removing the cost of tuition, New Mexico is helping more students pursue and persist in higher education.

The Town of Anthony, Texas, would like to invite you to their annual Fourth of July parade to celebrate our nation's 250th Birthday. Their parade runs through two different states, Texas and New Mexico.

The parade will start on the Anthony, New Mexico, side and run to the Anthony, Texas, municipal Park. Thousands of our community members will be lining our streets to watch this beautiful parade. This year, our Grand Marshal will be Krystall Poppins, an upcoming music artist from El Paso.
