Engineering Student Council - New Mexico State University The purpose of the Engineering Council is to foster professional and social activities for engineeri At New Mexico State University, our council:

1.

Serves as a support network for NMSU Engineering Student Organizations linking them to new Students, Faculty, and Leadership

2. Hosts 2 college-wide socials/ year

3. Funds member organizations for travel, outreach supplies, food for meetings, tabling supplies etc.

4. Hosts the Engineering Technology Fee Committee

5. Involves other NMSU Councils across disciplines
(Ex: Sustainability Counci

l)

6. Interfaces ASNMSU Engineering Senators in:
- Resolution opinion polls
- Emergency Senate appointments
- Candidate Endorsements
