William T. Young Campus Center The William T. The WTYCC hosts major campus events, programs, and organization meetings while also serving as a recreational center.

Young Campus Center is a vital part of the campus community at Transylvania, offering many services and amenities to students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and guests. The facility helps unify the life of the University and serves as an educational program to the student staff it employs. The 36,500-square-foot William T. Young Campus Center (WTYCC) provides space for a variety of recreational

and sports uses, student activities and university events. The WTYCC features an Olympic weightlifting facility for student athletes, men's and women's locker rooms, and a six-lane, NCAA competition-size swimming and diving facility that is used by Transylvania’s swimming and diving team. The pool is open for two daily sessions of free and lap swimming during the school year. The multipurpose gymnasium, meeting rooms, and Student Involvement Center in the WTYCC make it a focal point for major campus events, programs, and student organization meetings. For student convenience and accessibility, the WTYCC also houses the Health and Wellness Center and Counseling Services, and a number of student life offices.
