The bodies of 162 people had been pulled from the waters off the Egyptian coast by Friday, two days after a boat carrying hundreds of refugees and migrants capsized in the Mediterranean while attempting to head to Europe.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us and L.A. STOP THE TRAFFIK! The panelists went into some very important topics and the student performers were so amazing! The intersection between human trafficking and the refugee crisis is incredibly dangerous and such a blatant violation of human rights. However, this is not the end! There will be meetings for the next three weeks in HAINES A6 at 6pm! We hope to see you there!
