Today is Equal Pay Day! Did you know that women working full-time make just 80 percent of what men do for the same jobs, on average?

According to the American Association of University Women, at the rate things are going, equal pay won't happen for more than 100 years.

We will be discussing upcoming officer elections in May, the respective duties of each officer needed to be upheld for the academic year, and the positions open for re-election!

If you get lost trying to find the room, message us and we'll come find you! For reference, it's the room with a circle window cut out on the side that says "Think Tank."

We had such an awesome time serving as delegates for the Texas Tech AWC chapter at the 2017 AWC Professional Development Conference in Dallas, TX this past weekend. Thank you AWC for helping us as women learn to be even more empowered in not only our day-to-day lives but in our current and future careers as well as endeavors as professionals. We will have our first meeting TONIGHT at 7pm in MCOM in Room 269A, also known as The Think Tank!!

Our meeting tonight will include introductions from the officers and our faculty adviser, Mary Ann Edwards. The meeting will also include a quick recap of who we are as AWC, and what we hope to achieve as an organization this year!
