Flour, eggs, and a whole lot of fun! 🍝
In today’s Kids Culinary Community Class, our young chefs learned how to make pasta completely from scratch—mixing, rolling, and shaping it by hand. Once their noodles were ready, they took things to the next level by preparing two classic sauces: a hearty bolognese and a creamy carbonara.
This class was all about building confidence in the kitchen, trying new techniques, and (of course) enjoying the delicious results of their hard work. We love watching these students grow their skills each week! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today, the student became the teacher in the best way possible!
One of our talented second-year students, Lamees, stepped into the role of teacher and absolutely shined. Born in Iraq, raised in Egypt, and now continuing her journey here in the U.S., Lamees brings a wealth of culture, perspective, and passion to our program.
English is her second language, but that hasn’t slowed her down one bit—she has consistently gone above and beyond, and today was no exception. She confidently led the class, teaching our chefs how to prepare a traditional chicken shawarma sandwich from start to finish.
Moments like this are what it’s all about—students growing into leaders, sharing their stories, and bringing authentic flavors and techniques into the kitchen. We are so proud of you and lucky to be a part of your journey, Lamees! 👏

Before they walk the stage, there’s one last tradition our second-year culinary students share—breakfast together. 🍳

It’s a moment to slow down, laugh, and reflect on everything they’ve accomplished side by side. From long labs and late nights to big wins and hard lessons, this table has seen it all.

And of course, no goodbye is complete without signing each other’s aprons—little notes, inside jokes, and words of encouragement that they’ll carry with them long after graduation.
More than just a meal, it’s a celebration of friendship, growth, and the journey that brought them here. ❤️👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
