This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Sandusky Middle School to our facility. They’re participating in a Lynchburg Beacon of Hope program that introduces middle schoolers to local employers and real-world career paths.

It was a wonderful opportunity to show them our operations up close and share what a future career in manufacturing could look like. We’re always grateful for the chance to help inspire the next generation of talent.

Sometimes the unique coil designs we see in hydroelectric facilities call for a new way to measure scale. We’ve started using a fresh unit of measure: the Jeshua.

One of our latest projects, 8 coils in total, was relatively straightforward from a design perspective, but the size was impressive: standing at 2 Jeshuas high by 4 Jeshuas long.

It’s one of our favorite days of the year at Aerofin — the big reveal of our newest employee-designed shirts.

Each year, we hold an internal contest where team members submit their designs, and the winners get to see their creations come to life. It's always a great moment when the shirts are handed out and the winning designers proudly wear theirs around the shop.

This year’s designs carried a lot of meaning:
- One shirt pays tribute to a vintage Aerofin ad from the 1940s and even features a throwback version of our logo.
- The other celebrates over 60 years in the nuclear industry, incorporating our signature spiral tubing into the shape of an atom.

We’re proud of our heritage and even prouder of the people who continue to shape Aerofin’s future. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this tradition special once again.
