Silver Wings - Michigan Technological University Silver Wings is a national, co-ed professional organization dedicated to creating proactive, knowledgeable, and effective civic leaders

The objective is to promote personal and professional development of its members and to raise civic awareness through community service and education about national defense. Personal Development: Local Chapter activities and projects provide character growth through service to the community and enable the individual members to develop a sense of purpose and a responsibility within their community.

Professional Development: Local Chapter activities and projects provide members with leadership opportunities and the chance to develop professional skills, including oral/written communication, public speaking, and project planning and execution. Civic awareness: Local Chapter Activities provide exposure to Air Force issues and personnel enabled members to develop an awareness of aerospace power and the role that it plays in national defense. It also provides opportunities for promoting aerospace issues in communities through seminars, educational programs, public relation actives, and seminars.

We are so happy to show you all some of the progress that has been made in Houghton recently! The left side of the picture is Agate St. after all the flooding, and the right side of the picture is the current state of the street. We cannot believe this amazing difference in just a few days.
