This past Saturday afternoon our organization celebrated sisterhood, scholarship, and the next generation of remarkable women at the SPAPA Scholarship Luncheon! 🌸✨
The room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was filled with encouragement, pride, and love as we honored this year’s scholarship recipients alongside their mothers and supporters.
We were honored to recognize four incredible scholarship recipients and hear about their accomplishments, majors, and future aspirations:
🩷Catherine Hartney — Delta Zeta
University of Central Florida
Political Science with minors in Economics and National Security & Intelligence
💚 Victoria Reed — Zeta Tau Alpha
University of Central Florida
Health Sciences Pre-Clinical with a minor in Mass Media
💜 Sophie Slager — Chi Omega
Florida State University
Nursing with a minor in Child Development
🧡 Amanda Stewart — Phi Mu
University of Florida
Media Production, Management, and Technology
Each scholarship recipient will receive a $3,000 scholarship, for a total of $12,000 awarded this year in support of education, leadership, and the continued success of these remarkable Panhellenic women. ✨
With collegiate sorority dues, housing, meal plans, and membership costs often totaling several thousand dollars each year, these scholarships can make a meaningful difference in helping students continue their education and fully participate in the sorority experience. More importantly, they are an investment in future leaders, mentors, and women committed to service and community.
We even received an exciting update from one of last year’s recipients, who will soon begin her career at Tiffany & Co. in New York City—a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact these scholarships and this Panhellenic community can have on young women as they pursue their dreams.
For a century, St. Petersburg sorority women have come together through SPAPA to encourage, mentor, and support one another—and today was such a beautiful reflection of that legacy. 💖
Because true sisterhood is not about standing above one another—it is about standing beside one another.
