Vietnamese American Student Association VASA Mankato, MN We are the Vietnamese American Student Association at Minnesota State University, Mankato. We are here to share the Vietnamese culture on campus.

Our organization is dedicated to sharing the Vietnamese Culture, working together, and making the school campus more diverse. We do many events on campus including Chinese/Vietnamese Lunar Tet New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Homecoming, and many fundraisers. Our membership is very diverse, so we are always looking forward to meeting and working with everyone! Our hope is to keep our identity strong by working together through events that can showcase the Vietnamese American Culture.

Tet is a celebration of Vietnamese Lunar New Year. We shaw perform Vietnamese cultural ceremony at the beginning of the show. We also perform lion dance, Vietnamese cultural fan dance, cultural songs and a modern VPop dance. We also serving Vietnamese cuisines such as egg rolls, stif fry, tofu, ect....

Our general meeting going to be held on September 14 @7:00pm-8:00pm, CSU 203.
We are going to paint lantern in tribute to Mid Autumn Lantern Festival.

Mid Autumn Lantern Festival will be held on September 15 @10:00am-3:00pm, CSU Lobby.
We will sell Mooncake (traditional Vietnamese sweet) Cafe su da(Vietnamese coffee)

Please join and bring your friends for both our general meeting and Mid Autumn Lantern Festival!
Let's cerebrate the fall harvest together!!!
