It’s been a calm, quiet summer here in the Ag & Skilled Trades office — lots of planning, organizing, and preparing for the upcoming semester. But now…

👩‍🏫 Faculty are coming back!
🎓 Students are coming back!
🔧 The labs are coming back to life!
🚜 And the Ag & Skilled Trades office is about to get A LOT less quiet!

We are SO ready! 🙌

Classes start August 31, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back to campus. Bring on the chaos, the coffee, the questions, the projects, and ALL the students! 💙💛

To all of our local FFA members and agriculture students, we're cheering you on! Your dedication, responsibility, and passion for agriculture are on full display, and we couldn't be prouder.

Whether you're framing a house, machining a precision part, welding a project, installing HVAC systems, repairing vehicles, or working in agriculture, one thing is always true:

As I turned the corner onto campus this morning, I was greeted by a rainbow that looked like it ended right at the NIACC Farm.

It got me thinking… people say there’s a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow, but I’d argue the real jackpot is found right here.

At the NIACC Farm, students gain hands-on experience, build skills for in-demand careers, and prepare for futures in agriculture and beyond. The opportunities, knowledge, and connections they find here are worth far more than gold.

Some mornings, Mother Nature gives us a pretty good reminder of that. 🌈🚜🌱
