This year Tiger Cheer had one senior and we truly could not have asked for a better one.
Sheyenne took a leap of faith stepping into something completely new for her fourth and final year at Central. She showed up every single day with a smile on her face and was always ready to jump into whatever was asked of her.
What started as a quiet and timid beginning quickly turned into us getting to know the funniest parts of Sheyenne, especially her contagious laugh that you would never expect from someone so quiet at first. Through all the unknowns, new experiences this season brought; she holds a special place on our team.
We are so thankful Sheyenne chose to be part of our new begninning. She will be deeply missed in our everyday campus life, but she will always have a place in Tiger Cheer. We love you Sheyenne! 🫶🏻

Tiger Cheer secured another commit and we are SO excited to welcome JJ to the squad this fall!

JJ brings an extensive background in all things cheer and will be a huge part of pushing Tiger Cheer to the next level. Her talent and experience are exactly what this program is building on.

HEY CENTRAL FANS!

We are BEYOND excited to announce that Stacia is officially joining the family for the 2026–27 season at Central Christian!

I am happy to welcome her as our newest Tiger cheerleader. Stacia plans to study Worship Arts, and I truly can’t wait to see the impact she’ll have on campus. She has such a kind soul and brings the biggest positive energy and smile wherever she goes. I cannot wait to watch her succeed this fall!

Our Shoe Drive Fundraiser is officially complete!
Yesterday, our shoes were picked up from campus and we finished with 67 bags of shoes. That’s about 1,675 pairs!

We chose to do this fundraiser because it was different than anything we’ve done before, and we loved that the shoes don’t just sit somewhere — they get reused and help support young entrepreneurs around the world.

A huge thank you to Funds2Orgs and our amazing fundraiser coach, Jim. You were wonderful to work with, and we are so grateful for your guidance every step of the way!

We also want to thank Central Christian College of Kansas for allowing us to use space to store the many, many bags of shoes we collected. Thank you to everyone who donated, helped carry heavy bags into Science Hall, and supported us along the way.

A special thank you to Breanna, Lisa, the Admissions team at Central, and the many other Central staff and students who jumped in to help pick up and haul some very heavy bags. Your willingness to help us dod not go unnoticed.

Wrapping up our very first basketball season with Tiger Cheer 💛

We cheered our last game on Saturday and got to celebrate our senior, Sheyenne…the best way to close out year one.

This season was such a huge success, and we are so proud of everything this team accomplished on the court. Thank you to everyone who supported us, showed up to games, and cheered right alongside us.

We’re already excited to get back in the gym next year with new cheers, new skills, new stunts… and a brand new Toby costume 👀

On a personal note ~ as a coach, leading my very first Central Cheer team is something I will always be grateful for. This group (and everyone who supported us) will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Year one = unforgettable. 🤍📣

Today is our last big push for the Shoe Drive!

I’ve got some donations trickling in today! The truck picks up on Monday afternoon so I will take any over the weekend donations as well!

We’re still collecting shoes through the 20th!
