Welcome back to campus! If you forgot anything during move-in or brought more items than needed, join us next Friday, Sept. 4, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fishbowl!

We will have school/kitchen supplies for free, and no donations are needed to take items.

Meet Gabby!

Gabby is our bonus 5th member of the 2026 garden team. She worked with us last year and decided to volunteer for a few weeks early in the season before her summer plans started. Gabby is a Criminal Justice major and her favorite parts of working in the garden are Tuesday markets and planting zinnias, which you can see her holding in this picture. We love Gabby!

If you like produce markets just as much as Gabby, come join us on Tuesday for campus-grown veggies and honey.

Last day before classes! Welcome back to all our returning students.

Quick flashback to last spring when the Environmental Science/Sustainability Capstone class built and stained/painted new picnic tables for the Upper Garden. Make sure to check these out and say hi to our chickens.

Tuesday Markets are still happening! Stop by Eisenhower Commons from 10am to 12pm for seasonal, campus-grown produce and honey.

A little behind the scenes from move-in day last Friday! Our office helped with waste sorting to make sure everything from move-in ended up in the right place. We’re especially grateful to the students who came out to help us with the sorting!

Meet Maggie!

Maggie is a local high school student who has been working with us this summer. She is hoping to one day study Environmental Science/Sustainability and her favorite part of working in the garden has been seeing it grow over the summer. Maggie has been a dedicated and energy-bringing member of our team. 🌱

Meet Jacob!

Jacob is a Sophomore Psychology major with a minor in English. He has been a dedicated and thoughtful member of our summer garden team. His favorite part of working for the Sustainability Office this summer has been getting to watch hard work pay off as the garden steadily improves and produce grows. 🌱

Our Butterfly W**d (Asclepias) is living up to its name! Can you spot the monarch caterpillar hanging in its new home? We are so thankful for the work of students in last spring's Environmental Science/Sustainability Capstone course for making this possible.

One of the highlights of our weekly schedule is getting to check in on our campus apiary! Later this week, we will be working with our beekeeper to harvest our summer honey. 🐝🍯🌼

Stop by our Tuesday market over the next few of weeks from 10am-12pm to purchase our campus honey and other seasonal produce.
