This is a group created for the UW Stout Marketing & Business Education Association. Our organization assists the state levels of both DECA and FBLA-PBL in different ways. Some of our leadership development activities include hosting the Wisconsin District I Career Development Conference, sending interns to the Wisconsin and Minnesota State DECA Conferences, as well as assisting in the Minnesota D
istrict II Conference. On the FBLA-PBL side, we send MBEA to assist at the state level with the FBLA Regional Conference and the FBLA State Conference. By assisting in these conferences, we grow as educators and gain a better understanding of the students that we will one day call our own. Like our tagline says, we are “Exceeding the limits by striving for excellence.”
Our commitment to organizations such as DECA and FBLA-PBL is only a small part of what we do. UW-Stout MBEA also serves the city of Menomonie with several civic consciousness activities like planning and implementing a food drive or an Adopt-a-highway program each semester. This organization is full of dedicated and motivated individuals, this Facebook group represents the hard work and dedication put forth by its members to represent the University of Wisconsin–Stout, MBEA, DECA and FBLA-PBL in the most professional and responsible manner possible.
