NVAPA promotes intra-fraternity friendship and collaboration; publicizes the high ideals, purpose and accomplishments of the fraternity system; stimulates the interest and participation of alumnae members of NPC fraternities; cooperates with colleges and college panhellenics and alumnae panhellenics in adjacent areas; and furthers interest in community service, philanthropic efforts and higher education.

Today we celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of the people who make our communities stronger every day.

The Northern Virginia Alumnae Panhellenic Association is excited to receive the NPC Alumnae Panhellenic College Panhellenic Connections Award! đź’™

This award recognizes alumnae Panhellenics that strengthen relationships with collegiate Panhellenics through scholarships, recruitment support, and mentorship.

We’re proud to:
🎓 Support MRABA signing during primary recruitment at George Mason University.
đź’™ Award annual scholarships to two Virginia sorority women pursuing their college education.
🎤 Recommend speakers for George Mason University’s scholarship dinner.
🤝 Provide an annual donation to the George Mason University Panhellenic, supporting initiatives selected by the collegiate council.

We’re honored that the Northern Virginia Alumnae Panhellenic Association received the NPC Alumnae Panhellenic Enhancement of the Alumnae Experience Award! 💙

This award recognizes organizations that provide educational, leadership, and social opportunities that enrich the lifelong sorority experience.

This year, we:
✨ Recognized outstanding members through our President’s Award, Leadership Award, Community Service Award, and Spirit Award.
đź“š Kept members informed with updates from our NPC Alumnae Panhellenics Area Coordinator.
🙌 Offered leadership opportunities through committee service in community service, fundraising, bylaws, and scholarships.

🏆 Community Service/Philanthropy Award

We’re proud to share that the Northern Virginia Alumnae Panhellenic Association received the NPC Alumnae Panhellenic Community Service/Philanthropy Award! 💙

This award recognizes alumnae Panhellenics that develop meaningful volunteer opportunities, strengthen philanthropic initiatives, and make a positive impact in their communities.

Throughout the year, we:
🩵 Supported Ellie’s Hats by collecting hats for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families, along with a monetary donation.
🥫 Collected food and donated funds monthly to the Annandale United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
🇺🇸 Honored local veterans by writing notes for the Vietnam Veterans Association in recognition of Veterans Day.
🌍 Supported Circle of Sisterhood and the National Panhellenic Conference Foundation through financial contributions.
🤝 Promoted our member sororities’ philanthropic events and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Thank you to our members and community partners for helping us make a difference. Together, we are living the values of service and sisterhood every day.

A new month brings a new season of sisterhood, service, and connection! 💕 We’re looking forward to kicking off another wonderful year together and gathering for our first NVAPA meeting of the season.
