Our department is saddened to learn the news of the death of our student and friend Sanai. Please read the information below.

April 7, 2024

Dear Campus Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the death of 20-year-old Sanai L. Browning, a sophomore at Millersville University. She died early this morning from an unknown medical cause. The coroner’s office is investigating.

Sanai was from Philadelphia and was an active member of campus, involved as a DJ with WIXQ 91.7 FM - MU’s College Radio Station, a member of Marauder Video Productions, the BEA Student Media Club and the All-Campus Musical Organization. She was also a resident assistant in West Village.

Our thoughts and prayers of concern and comfort are with Sanai’s family, friends and our entire campus community.

Counseling services will be available for students in the Great Room of South Village at 5 p.m. today. Students may also call the Crisis Intervention Hotline at 717-394-2631.

Tomorrow, students impacted may contact the Millersville Counseling Center at (717) 871-7821. They may also contact chaplains within Campus Ministries, staff at Health Services (717) 871-5250, and the Center for Health Education and Promotion (717) 871-4141.

Employees impacted should contact the State Employee Assistance Program at 1-800-692-7459.

Services for Sanai are pending. Details will be provided in ‘Ville Daily.

In sadness,

Daniel A. Wubah
