Negative Negative Productions was founded by Sharif Abu-Hamdeh (current Many Voices Fellow at The Playwrights' Center). Sharif was introduced to theatre in a class taught by Naomi Iizuka at the University of California at Santa Barbara during his final year in the Art Studio program. He continued his theatre training with Campo Santo as a member of their collaborative team. After becoming a compan

y member there, Sharif worked on the development of his first full length play, Habibi, and directed the dance theater piece Sunday Will Come. In June of 2013, he received an MFA in playwriting from the University of California at San Diego.
