Phi Boota roota - National Percussion Fraternity

Phi Boota roota is the first and largest national percussion fraternity. Phi Boota roota exists to strengthen those bonds among percussionists.

Phi Boota roota is a nationally recognized professional percussion fraternity whose purpose is to further the fraternal relationship amongst percussionists, promote and teach the art of percussion, and instill a feeling of brotherhood across the nation. Through the coordination that is required while performing with each other, percussionists tend to naturally come together and bond. In doing so,

we come together to promote and teach the art of percussion to those both within and outside the organization.

uniPHI 2026 is in the books! 🥁

We recently wrapped up our 2026 National Convention “UniPHI” hosted by Phi Boota roota - Beta Chapter at Stephen F. Austin University! The fraternity made tons of advancements all between amending and ratifying our governing documents, electing new brothers into our National Executive Committee, granting honorary status to Bruce Salyers, and welcoming in the new “Thunderous” Tau Kappa Chapter of Φᗺr Chapter of Phi Boota roota at Christopher Newport Univeristy!

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s event possible. Here’s to carrying the spirit of uniPHI with us throughout the year and continuing to build on the brotherhood of Phi Boota roota!

Lastly, uniPHI 2027 will be hosted by Phi Boota roota - Phi Lambda Chapter at the University of Southern Alabama in Mobile, Alabama! Let’s start the hype for uniPHI 2027!
