💜💙 HELP US SHOWER OUR LITTLE ONES WITH LOVE! 💙💜

Delta Alpha Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is collecting baby and toddler supplies to support the mothers of the TAPP Program of Collier County Schools and their children from newborn through age 4.

We are asking our community to help us fill the need with new essentials and gently used baby and toddler items in clean, good condition.

🍼 Items Needed Include:
• Diapers/Pampers in all sizes
• Pull-Ups and training pants
• Baby wipes
• Baby wash, shampoo, and lotion
• Diaper rash cream
• Baby and toddler clothing
• Shoes
• Blankets and receiving blankets
• Bibs and burp cloths
• Laundry detergent and other baby-safe laundry supplies
• Newborn and toddler care essentials
• Other useful items for children ages newborn to 4

Do you have baby or toddler items your little one has outgrown? Please consider passing them forward. Your gently used items could be a tremendous blessing to another family. 💜

🚙 We are willing to pick up donated supplies!

Every pack of diapers, every outfit, every blanket, and every donation helps us provide meaningful support to young children and families in our community.

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Soror Triumphant Joyce Dean 🕊

With heavy hearts, the Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Delta Alpha Epsilon Zeta Chapter honor the transition of our beloved Soror Triumphant Joyce Dean.

Soror Dean was more than a member of our sisterhood. She was a pioneer, a Charter Member, a Crystal Dove, a Life Member, and a Legacy whose commitment to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated strengthened the foundation on which generations of Finer Women continue to stand.

Her years of service, sisterhood, wisdom, and devotion embody the very spirit of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. She carried Zeta with dignity and helped ensure that the light of our sisterhood would continue to shine for those who followed.

Her transition has created a profound space in our hearts and in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s history, but the legacy she leaves behind will never fade.

We speak her name with gratitude.
We honor her service with reverence.
We cherish her sisterhood with love.

Rest peacefully, Soror Dean. Your work was meaningful, your legacy is enduring, and your light will forever remain among us.

💙 **LABOR DAY: SOCIAL ACTION IN MOTION** 💙

Labor Day is more than the unofficial end of summer, a cookout, or a day away from work.

**Labor Day exists because people organized.**

Workers stood together, marched, advocated, challenged unfair systems, and demanded workplace dignity. What we recognize today as a federal holiday was born from **collective action, advocacy, and the determination of ordinary people to create change.**

That is **Social Action.**

And the history touches our own **Blue and White family.**

🤘🏾 **Brother A. Philip Randolph, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated,** became one of the most influential Black labor leaders in American history. As organizer and leader of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, he fought for fair wages, improved working conditions, shorter workweeks, overtime pay, and dignity for Black workers who were too often exploited and excluded.

His work reminds us that **civil rights and workers’ rights have always been connected.**

For the women of **Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated**, Social Action calls us to remain *community-conscious and action-oriented*—to understand the issues affecting our communities and act on them.

So today, as we say **Happy Labor Day**, may we also remember the organizing, marching, negotiating, voting, advocating, and sacrificing that made progress possible.

Because many of the rights we enjoy today were not simply given.

**Someone fought for them.
Someone organized for them.
Someone used their voice.
Someone took action.**

That is the legacy of Labor Day.

That is the power of **Social Action.** 💙🤍

Happy Finer Birthday, Dr. Kellie Dixon!

Today, we pause to give you your flowers and celebrate the woman whose words have encouraged, inspired, and challenged so many to become greater.

You have a remarkable way of reminding others that every season is an opportunity to grow, every lesson can become a rung on the ladder, and every step upward should position us to reach back and help someone else climb.

May the same inspiration you so freely pour into others return to you in abundance. May this next chapter bring higher heights, deeper purpose, greater joy, and new ladders leading you toward everything God has prepared for you.

On Friday, August 21st the Ladies of Delta Alpha Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated celebrated our 5th Charterversary with an evening of girl talk, laughter, reflection, and sisterhood at Watermark Grille in Naples, Florida.

Our theme was Noir & Pearls, but the real beauty of the evening was found in the stories shared around the table.

Who would have thought that over smothered chicken livers, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp and lobster tails, we would take a journey through decades of Zeta?

Our Sorors who have lived and loved Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated for more than 30 years shared stories of the past. They spoke of our Triumphant Sorors, Past Grand Basileus Barbara West Carpenter Moore and Martha T. Williams, and reminded us of the women whose service, sacrifice, and commitment helped pave the path we now walk.

We didn’t just hear Zeta history. We heard our history from the women who lived it.

That was the beauty of the evening. Five years as a chapter may be part of our story, but we are connected to a legacy that stretches far beyond us. Our seasoned Sorors showed us the path that was left for us, while reminding us that it is now our responsibility to leave a path for the Sorors who will come behind us.

Noir & Pearls wasn’t just a celebration of five years. It was a celebration of where we’ve been, who poured into us, and where we are going next.
