On Tuesday at 7:30 pm Eastern, we are hosting a generic craft night! Bring your yarn, your sewing, your fiber for spinning, any craft you do, and if you don't like to craft then bring some hot chocolate or tea and tell us about your week!

SPRING 2021 RECRUITMENT INFORMATION:
We're a few weeks from the beginning of another virtual semester, but that won't stop our recruitment! We believe this might even give more people an opportunity to attend a rush event, as more classes are by arrangement instead of at scheduled times! If you're interested in learning more about the only official fraternity for gay, bisexual, q***r, and progressive people at Rutgers University then please continue reading!
Requirements for joining:
1. Eligibility confirmed by OFSA at https://enroll.icsrecruiter.com/ifc/RUTGRS. We're unable to extend a bid if you are not registered and approved by OFSA.
2. You're required to meet OFSA requirements: have at least 12 credits (including E credits, excluding AP credits), be a full-time student, and have at least a 2.5 GPA.
Membership expectations include attending weekly new member education meetings until your initiation, you will be expected to pay all dues and fees associated with being a member of DLP, and you are expected to be involved to the extent that you can be!
Fees and Dues Information for New Members:
Dues for new member this spring will be $250, and the breakdown is as follows:
National Dues - $125
Insurance - $62.50
Initiation Fee - $30
Chapter Maintenance - $32.50
If finances are an issue, don't let that be the reason you don't join us. Please reach out to us and we can work out a solution.
Alcohol Policy:
All chapter rush events, new member events, meetings, and ceremonies must be "dry" (no alcohol). No underage drinking is permitted. Sale of alcohol by the chapter is prohibited. No common sources of alcohol. Chapter funds cannot be used to purchase alcohol.
Hazing Policy:
Delta Lambda Phi has a strict no tolerance policy for hazing. If you or someone else is being hazed or hazing someone else, please contact OFSA (www.greeklife.rutgers.edu/report-a-violation/) and Delta Lambda Phi National (www.dlp.org/hazing/policy/)

🦇 🎃 This Friday, October 30th at 8 pm EST, the Beta Sigma Chapter of Delta Lambda Phi is having a Halloween PowerPoint party! 🎃 🦇

Zoom link will be provided in our Discord, our GetInvolved event page, our Facebook, or through DM.

Bring your best Halloween themed (or not) PowerPoint! You can also wait to make one at the start of our event, we'll give you time 🎃

Past examples of PowerPoints from our brothers and friends:

"Why Baby Shark is the Worst Song Ever (it isn't)"
"Which DLP president would win a thumb wrestling match and why"
"History of NYC Subway System", "Why Honey is Vegan but Figs Aren't"
They can be as ridiculous (or serious) as you want, and can be as long or short as you want.

Bonus: it isn't a competition or required, but it would be fun to dress up for Halloween 👻

Delta Lambda Phi at Rutgers answers the Knight's Call by being authentic. The fraternity's mission, "to develop dignified and purposeful, social, service and recreational activities for progressive men, irrespective of sexual orientation" We are so glad they are a member of our Greek community.
