We are proud to introduce our first NYC-based non-profit partner, Kips Bay Decorator Show House.

For nearly 50 years, Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City has gathered prominent design talent from across the country to transform architecturally significant Manhattan residences with virtuosic displays of art and interior design. Established in 1973 to support afterschool enrichment programs for local youth, the influential public event has since expanded to Florida and Texas—with sister show houses now in Palm Beach and Dallas—becoming an annual milestone for the design industry in each market and a critical funding source for more than 10,000 underserved children and teens year-round.

We are so thrilled to introduce our newest Gold Collective member, Jose Manuel Alorda Photography.

Photographer Jose Manuel Alorda likes to describe the locus of his work as “the place where interiors become art.” Originally from Spain and based in New York and San Francisco, he travels the world documenting great architecture and interior design for prominent clients, top magazines, and international book projects. Alorda’s passion for photography goes back to his teens, when his grandfather gave him his first camera. After earning a master’s degree in photography at Fine Art University in Barcelona, he quickly gravitated to capturing architecture and design and hasn’t looked back. “The way I’m shooting is very meticulous and sculptural,” Alorda says of his sophisticated eye for geometry and composition of space. “It’s not only about light but also the shadows and volumes.”

Gold Collective member transformed not one but two spaces at this year’s , and we’re so excited to share these stunning photos of the final designs.

📸 1-5: FORMA collaborated closely with on “Elysian Gaze” and “Serene Soak” to create a subtle yet luxurious Primary Suite. Working with the best designers and artisans, this entire space exudes craftsmanship, indulgence and tranquility.

📸 6-10: The Jewel Box Kitchen, in collaboration with the talented Kristen Pena of , captures the essence of modern luxury with a hint of intrigue. From the dramatic marble backsplash and custom oak hood, to the rich, dark cabinetry and handmade tile flooring, every detail in this kitchen speaks of craftsmanship.

Designer Kate Ferguson leads Palomino Interiors, admired for its collected, layered spaces marked by vibrant color schemes, sophisticated use of pattern and texture, and—most important—a sense of relaxed elegance that’s warm and approachable. “We take a deep dive into our clients’ lives and values to ensure their surroundings have meaning and strike the right balance between beauty and function,” says Ferguson, who originally studied anthropology before pursuing a career in design. She brings a uniquely grounded, human-centered mindset to her Connecticut–based practice, founded in 2014. Her background in buying and selling antiques further informs her brilliant mix of styles and periods, which erases outmoded boundaries—between modern and traditional, old and new—to create singular environments.
