New Orleans Sigmas

We had a great time on yesterday, supporting the 39th Annual UNCF Walk/Run for Education in New Orleans. We even had a few brothers to run.

Supporting the 39th Annual UNCF Walk For Education in New Orleans is about investing in the future of our students, strengthening our HBCUs, and creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders. As a fraternity chapter that advises and sponsors chapters at both Dillard University and Xavier University, we proudly stand behind UNCF’s mission to make higher education accessible and empower students to succeed. When we support our HBCUs, we invest in our future!

We had a great time today working along side our brothers from the Upsilon Pi Sigma Chapter, and our sisters from the Alpha Gamma Zeta and the Omicron Nu Zeta Chapters of Zeta Phi Beta for the NPHC Story Time and Book Donation Event. We collected over 500 books to be given out across the city.

We had a great time this evening celebrating brotherhood and scholarship. Tonight we took time to recognize our undergraduate brothers who will be graduating in just a few weeks. Congratulations to each of you, and we wish you much success on your journeys as you cross that stage!

We also proudly recognize our April Business of the Month, Brittany’s Restaurant and Lounge, located at 10711 Chef Menteur Hwy. Be sure to stop by and show your support—you won’t be disappointed!

Today we celebrate 112 years of brotherhood, scholarship and service! The continued carrying of the vision, hopes and dreams of 3 young men on the campus of Howard University!

112 years later, our beloved fraternity has continued to grow and we continue to work to achieve the vision of our Founders.

From the Theta Beta Sigma Chapter down in New Orleans, we would like to wish a Happy Founders’ Day to all of our brothers across the world.
