Last November, BPLA members had the exceptional opportunity to attend the National Black Pre Law Conference in New York, which is held annually!

NBPLC provided students with the opportunity to experience law school admissions panels, attend talks on the various careers after law school, and hear from prominent figures such as the Yale Law advisor and a Supreme Court Justice. We also had the distinguished opportunity to meet with the President of the National Bar Association.

BPLA members were able to engage in valuable dialogue with law school admissions representatives and the founder of the NBPLC.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who took the time to connect with us at the conference, as well as all of the BPLA members who attended!

For the second consecutive semester, BPLA will be partnering with the Florida Undergraduate Law Review in collaboration with La Alianza and Brown Women’s Pre-law Association. We are looking for pieces ranging from 750-1750 words to be considered for publication on FULR’s blog. Please submit an abstract of your piece (limited to 250 words) through the Google form in our bio by March 7th to be considered for publication.
