As uncertain as this time is, we applaud the entire Brooklyn College Community.
In moving to online platforms and losing vital resources that would keep us afloat, it is amazing that we are still able to facilitate specialty events, programs, and initiatives. The committee would like to say that we are available to our students as we fulfill our vision for the yearbook. We want everyone to get one, as is our goal. Please let us know what you want to see. Just like your student activities, we at Broeklundian (Brooklyn College's yearbook committee) are working diligently to showcase our beloved community. We're rallying for your input and submissions in creating this publication as it is even more important to document our time, perseverance, and remember those we have lost as well as accomplishments despite these times. We'd imagine that the campus community has great pictures highlighting themselves, their clubs and activities, volunteer initiatives, celebrating essential workers, and remembering those that we have lost from these trying times. Our campus is diverse and we hope that all the submissions authentically display their truest self. From selfies to off-guard shots on the quad, our aim is to compile as many photos possible, from as many students, staff, faculty, department, office, and program at our beloved institution.
If possible, we would appreciate people and organizations to reach out to other clubs/organizations as well as remarkable people who might be interested in contributing. We hope that this message finds our community in health, wellness, and is the highest possible spirits and we look forward to creating this yearbook.
