SPRING FINAL EXAMS – Open Until Midnight!

Due to advocacy from Student Government – Leonard Lief Library will remain Open Until Midnight during Final Exam Period:
May 15 – 21, 2025
[please see attached Schedule]:

With cooperation from Public Safety – First Floor Only of Library will remain open as Study Hall.

Library services [Circulation-Reserve, Reference, access to stacks] will not be available beyond regular hours
[Reference Desk closes earlier].

However – 24-7 Virtual Chat is always available to support student research.

Library appreciates support of Administration and Finance and Public Safety for making these Extended Hours possible.

Lehman faculty – Library has entered into a transformative agreement with Cambridge University Press [CUP].

Lehman Cambridge transformative agreement [TA] allows for open access [OA] publishing and subscription access.

This agreement facilitates access to 400+Cambridge Journals including perpetual access to all volumes published from 2023-2025.

This also means faculty and campus affiliates can publish articles with open licenses in qualifying Cambridge journals without paying an Article Processing Charge [APC].

Faculty are strongly encouraged to submit their pre-print and final works if they publish with open licenses in Lehman’s Institutional Repository, CUNY Academic Works.
