Some UI shots which didn`t make into the final edit of our short based on Blindsight book by Peter Watts.

The first one is an animated timeline of all events happening before the main plot starts - the discovery of the Burns-Caulfield object, the launching of two waves of probes, object self-destruction, and Theseus changing its course in the middle of its mission. All with correct dates based on the book and the planets are in the physically correct positions, and all asteroids orbits are real ones from the NASA database. If you start to geek out about all these little details and there is no time/budget pressure on you, sometimes it is hard to stop =)

The other two shots are just Rorschach and Theseus dancing around good old Ben. That was much easier to code but still, I like the result.

We`ve just released a teaser for upcoming collaborative project based on Blindsight sci-fi novel by Peter Watts. We`ve spent more than a year bringing to screen ideas the author put in his book and finally have some of the shots in a state worth sharing. I hope you`ll like it too!
