Great to see our advisory committee member Gary Fong in San Francisco this weekend while we had a booth for at the national conference. spoke three times on Internship Intel, VettNews Corrections + Reader Trust and on and religion reporting. And we got see the NY Mets crush the SF Giants in an early season baseball ⚾️ matchup.

A few weeks ago ’s entrepreneurial journalism class at did a deep dive on 9/11 and welcomed a dozen attendees from the
conference in NYC. The students
heard a podcast, did a QnA, watched a video, had a
brainstorm session on how to tell the story of 9/11 to
their generation and to future generations. They then
went on a site visit to the 9/11 memorial and Oculus.

Last night we had our first family dinner with our NYCJ Spring 2022 cohort. They got to explore more of our neighborhood downtown by visiting the Oculus and Brookfield Place. These students will be starting their internships soon at , , and . We are looking forward to a great semester!

We had a great time last week at our final family dinner for this semester’s NYCJ students. We presented them with their certificates and it was wonderful getting to celebrate everything they have accomplished this fall. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
