What 📚General Information Packets (“📚GIPs“) Are
📚General Information Packets (“📚GIPs“) are document work products that deliver to customers by printing and shipping to inmates using correspondence programs, printing and shipping to institutional education departments and other corrections and transitional services staff by appropriate director-instructed shipping vending, institutional email transmission to incarcerated individuals where systems available, regular email transmission to designated third parties, and downloads by third parties for themselves or incarcerated individuals.
📚GIPs generally subject custodial adjustment, rehabilitation, legal remedy, reentry transition preparedness, job readiness, and business and entrepreneurial education relevant material. Requests for miscellaneous subject matters outside the core categories are fulfilled as long as the information meets ℹ️nfo4Freedom-Challenged’ Positive, Inspirational, Wholesome, or Resourceful Material Standards. In scale, 📚GIPs will similarly provide to identifiable disenfranchised and under-resourced communities.
