We're hiring a Simulation Operations Specialist at the UKHC Simulation Center.

The Simulation Center provides simulation-based training for clinicians and healthcare students across UK HealthCare. The Simulation Operations Specialist plays a central role in that work — programming and operating patient simulators, supporting faculty during clinical scenarios, and managing the technical side of our day-to-day operations.

This is a full-time position. Application deadline is May 19, 2026.

UKCOM’s Lexington Latino Health Advocacy Association hosted its first “Doc for a Day” event with Amachi Lexington, a local peer mentoring program. Over 30 medical student volunteers were on site March 5th at the Woodhill Community center to lead young students through multiple medical simulation stations including CPR basics, Stop the Bleed, OR simulation, intubation and orthopedic splinting. Our hope was that by engaging in hands-on learning that we might inspire the next generation of students interested in healthcare careers.
