ISU FLAME This is the official page of the Feminist Led Activist Movement to Empower at Illinois State University. F.L.A.M.E.

is ISU's feminist group on campus empowering students to reexamine all aspects of our lives for how they have been socially constructed along intersecting lines of gender, race, class, ability, age, heteronormativity, and ethnicity. Open to women who break the rules, men who recognize and fight alongside them, and all individuals fighting for equal rights among every gender line. Our big events fo

Take Back the Night (October) - a rally and march around campus to raise awareness of domestic violence and date r**e and promote a safe campus. The Va**na Monologues (February) - a production of Eve Ensler's script to raise awareness of domestic violence and abuse and correlates with the global V-Day movement. F.L.A.M.E.'s SPRING 2014 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

4/23 - F.L.A.M.E. Presents 'The Clothesline Project' 11am - 3pm on the Quad
