This course equips students with the knowledge and tools to use their bilingual and intercultural skills effectively in multilingual work environments. Students will explore workplace culture and business etiquette in France and other French-speaking regions, learning how to communicate appropriatelyin professional contexts. Through research,interviews, and hands-on projects, students will buildresources related to their chosen professional fieldand create documents that prepare them for the jobmarket.

Study Abroad report from current LCS student Connor Armstead in Japan🇯🇵!
He participated in the Japan Study Tour in 2024. During his one-week stay in Nagano, he built strong friendships with many local students. He has continued to nurture those friendships and even revisited the school while studying in Tokyo now! The first two photos are from Nagano! If you are considering studying abroad, then PLEASE do it. The people you will meet and the things you will see will change your life. I have been in Japan for 4 months now and it has been amazing. You get to meet other international students, learn more about the rest of the world, and gain a new perspective on everything. The land, the culture, and the world that you choose to study abroad at will be so different. I have travelled all around Japan in the last 4 months, and everywhere has been truly unique. The mountains, the countryside, small towns to big cities, they have all been incredible! I can really go on and on about how amazing study abroad has been. Please go experience it for yourself. Also a huge thanks to my teachers and UMSL Global for helping this happen!
