Help support our team travel to Philadelphia, Mississippi for the Fall National Championship! The Dukes just qualified for Nationals by coming in 2nd place this past weekend at the regional tournament. The team battled windy, cold conditions to place second; only 3 strokes behind UVA. Congrats to Zack Henry on winning the first Colonial Region tournament of the semester. Zack fired a two day total of 150 at Hanging Rock Golf Club and was a main reason why the Dukes went on to a 14 stroke win.

The Dukes were at it again down in Salem, Virginia this weekend where they competed in the first Colonial Region Tournament of the Fall semester. Club Golf finished in 1st place with a commanding 14 stroke win over Virginia Tech. Zack Henry finished as the overall medalist of the tournament with a solid two-day total of 150. James Magner and Matt Samuels also finished within the top 5. All members of the team finished within the top 15 out of a field of 70 players. The Dukes look to continue their success Halloween weekend at their second regional tournament in Williamsburg, VA.

Congrats to Robert Zehnder for winning the first tournament of the Spring 2014 season! Zack Henry and Tyler Wallace took 5th and 6th place respectfully in the tough conditions. The Dukes placed 2nd overall in the tournament for a good start to the season!

Nationals has concluded. Overall, a great weekend with great weather! Very thankful to the NCCGA and the Barefoot resort for putting on great event. Congrats to Robert Zehnder and Tyler Wallace for qualifying for the event. Special congratulations to Robert Zehnder for finishing in a tie for 2nd place, one shot back of the winner. Round 1 has concluded here in Myrtle Beach at the NCCGA Nationals. After playing the Love Course, JMU team members Robert Zehnder and Tyler Wallace shot rounds of 73 (T5) and 81 (T72) respectively. Robert Zehnder also won the skills competition.

Both players will be looking to improve tomorrow on the Dye course. Play begins at 8:30 tomorrow.

Congratulations to two of our players, Tyler Wallace and Robert Zehnder, who qualified for the NCCGA National Championship as individuals!

Nationals will be held at the Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach, SC on Nov. 16-17.

The Dukes struggled this weekend finishing 5th at the tournament. Congrats to Tyler Wallace who finished T2 with rounds of 76-78.

The team will be looking to secure a wildcard spot for nationals. We will know our status after the last NCCGA regional event concludes on November 2nd.

The Dukes are off to Forest Greens golf course in Triangle, VA tomorrow to compete in the 2nd of 2 regional events. After winning the first event, the team will be looking to secure a spot in the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) national championship at the Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach. Updates will be posted after each round.
