From the turf to the graduation stage—connected across generations. 🎓💙

Today, we watched our incredible seniors trade their sticks and jerseys for caps and gowns. Words cannot express how proud we are of everything they have accomplished—both as elite student-athletes and as leaders of this team.

What made this day even more magical was seeing the true power of our SCFH sisterhood. A huge, heartfelt thank you to our amazing alumnae, Paula Prins ’86 and Marissa Vara ‘06, who came back to campus to celebrate and welcome our newest graduates into the alumni family! Having generations of Bears in one place reminds us how rare and precious this community is.

Thank you to our seniors for the beautiful legacy you leave behind. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Remember, Once a Bear, Always a Bear. 🐻✨

Thank you, Ramsay. 🎓💙

Today, we celebrate a truly special member of our Smith Field Hockey family. Ramsay is officially graduating from the Exercise and Sport Studies (ESS) program!

From dominating on the turf as a player during the 2024 season to leading and inspiring our athletes as our incredible Graduate Assistant—and recently being named Best GA at the Athletic Banquet—Ramsay has poured her whole heart into this program.

Ramsay, your leadership, expertise, and endless support have shaped this team in ways words cannot describe. Thank you for wearing both jerseys with such pride. We are so incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see the amazing impact you’ll make in the sports world next!

Our Senior Spotlight series continues with the heart and soul of the turf, Annika!

For Annika, being a part of Smith Field Hockey has been a journey filled with “glowing gratitude.” From the unforgettable energy of the home game warmup rituals to the bittersweet end of her final season, she has cherished every second of the sisterhood we’ve built here.

While it’s hard to say goodbye to the official season, we are SO excited that Annika gets to wear the jersey one last time for our International Training Trip to Peru! 🇵🇪💙
