Kelly Emerick Student Venture Ministry

Everyday teens are making decisions that will affect them the rest of their lives – whether or not to take that drug or drink, to sleep with that guy or girl, or to give in to peer pressure. But they are open to spiritual things as they look for answers to the problems they face. Kelly Emerick has joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. Campus Crusade is a worldwide interdenominational ministry committed to helping take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. She will be working with Student Venture, the high school and junior high ministry of Campus Crusade, at the world headquarters of Campus Crusade for Christ International at Lake Hart in Orlando, Florida. Kelly has enjoyed Student Venture over the years; first as a high school student, as a college student volunteer, and as a Student Venture intern in Indianapolis, IN. Like many other mission organizations, Campus Crusade staff members have the responsibility of developing a team of financial partners who provide the necessary finances for their outreach, including their salary and business related expenses. Teenagers are like wet cement, waiting for someone to leave a lasting impression. They need people who care about them and can tell them about Jesus. Student Venture is committed to helping reach this generation with the gospel and shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
