Atelier 2011: 1429 Race Street - Over-the-Rhine A re-development of an Historic Church of Over-the-Rhine. This historic church has been abandoned for many years.

Miami University Center for Community Engagement in Over-the-Rhine & CR architecture + design collaborate for a new future for this historic and abandoned Over-the-Rhine church. This re-development initiative is through a collaboration with Miami Univeristy Center for Community Engagement in Over-the-Rhine and CR architecture + design. Termed the "Atelier", this group of 6 students is working to p

rovide the historic church site in Over-the-Rhine on the corner of 15th and Race Streets with schematic design for an adaptive reuse. It is currently facing structural decay and is in the process of being structurally stabalized. Through the students efforts, working directly with CR architecture + design and other design professionals, utilizing thier expertise and experience, an innovative plan for re-development of this historic site will procure, pushing forward through the next few months from the conceptual to the concrete.
