We need volunteers to help run an event this Saturday at the Jackson Center. High school robotics teams in the area will practice in the First Tech Challenge in a tournament setting. Volunteers can help with registration, field set-up, providing information to teams, etc. No knowledge of FTC is required. Show up at 10:00 for a quick rundown of what we need from the volunteers. The event should be pretty fun too! The end time is estimated to be 3:00 PM, but it may end up going longer.

Hey Everyone,

This is going to be a great year for the Engineering Service Corps. There's lots of opportunities for you to volunteer your time toward skill building, engineering related tasks. Come to this year's kickoff event: September 18th at 5:15 in the Brevard auditorium. A lot of valuable information will be presented about how the ESC is developing a partnership with the Center for Math and Science Education, and how you can take part in it. You'll hear about how you can advise high school kids who are taking up engineering challenges and robotics teams this year, and how to get involved with some of their competitions and summer camps. We'll have about 20 minutes at the end to eat pizza and socialize. I hope you all can make it. Get the word out to your friends in engineering!
