Davey Foundation supports utah filmmakers too! is a great opportunity to donate to us! Utahn Isaac Cole also participated in Davey Fest 2019 with his short LUCY IN THE MORNING. His new Davey-grant-winning short CAST. MEND. SET. will screen at Davey Fest 2020, June 5-6 in Salt Lake City. Come & see it y'all!

FUN FACT:

Isaac was partly raised in Baja California, Mexico, where his father, Peter Cole, works as a painter and sculptor. The years of his adolescence in Mexico have greatly impacted his outlook on life and humanist approach to filmmaking.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! There’s a lot of great orgs to support on and we fancy ourselves one. We are an all-volunteer labor of love, so money goes right to our artists to grow horns and operate booms!
and are our Utah local Saltmaker grant recipients. They participated in the first year of Davey Fest, a SLC shorts festival, and won the Locals' competition with their film DEEP BLUE CITY. This year you can see their Davey-grant-winning film SWEET PURPLE, which they describe as "A jaded, suburban dad helps a neighbor and murders a rooster."
FUN FACT:
Once upon a time before they knew each other, Alex captured Shawn candidly yo-yoing on UVU campus for his Vine account. Only months later Shawn cast Alex in his first college play.
