Master's students studying Sexuality Issues in Counseling created a Substack with information for clients and providers of LGBTQ+ health care. They even designed a template for a culturally responsive intake form that anyone can adapt and use in their practice!

Students in Dr. Akers' Sexuality Issues class created an advocacy project for intersectionally diverse clients. The counselors-in-training created a vetted provider list of 31 culturally responsive primary care physicians, dietitians, physical therapists, young adult palliative care providers, s*x therapists, obstetricians and gynecologists, mental health providers, pediatric providers, plastic surgeons, gender-inclusive treatment teams, and dental care providers.
